Caesar Creek Green-Up Day

April 21, 2005 - 8:30am to 1pm

Shoreline Clean Up

Green-up Day is an annual volunteer project to help beautify Caesar Creek State Park. This year, Pack 730 will clean up litter along the shoreline. Afterwards the park staff treats all volunteers to a picnic lunch at the main pavilion at the Caesar Creek beach.

Meet at the Caesar Creek State Park Visitor Center (off Clarksville Road just before the Dam) at 8:45am. Participating Scouts are asked to wear something green and/or your Cub Scout T-shirt. Please note that this is a CLEAN UP project and you WILL get dirty. Work gloves, sunscreen, and a hat are highly recommended. Wear comfortable safe shoes. Sandals and flip-flops are prohibited. Bring your own snacks and water.

This project may help scouts work toward or earn their Citizenship Award (consult your den / patrol leader for details).
